Clean dome cover: With a soft brush or cloth and mild soap or detergent, regularly clean the interior and exterior of the dome cover. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasives that may damage the fabric. Rinse well and let it dry completely.
Check cover for dame: Carefully inspect the exterior cover for any wear, tear, or damage, especially around the doors, zippers, seams, and vents. Repair any rips or tears as soon as possible to prevent further deterioration or leaks.
Inspect the frame: for any rust, corrosion, or loose connections. Tighten or replace any bolts, nuts, or screws that may be missing or damaged. Apply a protective coating or paint to prevent rusting if needed.
Check stability: Make sure the dome is level and securily anchored to the ground with stakes, ropes, or weights. Make sure your dome is stable and level and can withstand strong winds or storms. Adjust the tension of the cover if necessary to avoid sagging or flapping.
Clean Windows: Keep windows and transparent panels clean to allow maximum natural light to enter. Regular cleaning also prevents the buildup of dirt that could affect visibility.
Trim Vegetation: If there are plants or trees around the dome, ensure they are trimmed away from the structure. Overhanging branches or vegetation can damage the dome’s surface and create opportunities for pests.
Check for Water Drainage: Ensure that water can properly drain away from the dome’s base to prevent water accumulation that could lead to leaks or foundation issues.
Monitor Interior: Keep the interior clean and free from moisture. Use dehumidifiers if necessary to prevent mold and mildew growth.
