Assembling the geodesic dome kit you bought is the easiest part of the project. Once your site preparation is done and your dome assembled you will need to finish the inside of the dome, and take care of the interior design. The first important phase is to make sure that you have prepared your connection between your utilities and the structure of your dome.
You will need to make sure that those connections have been installed at the right locations, we are talking mainly about the plumbing related connection.
You may have hired your GC to create your partitions and” rooms”, he will be in charge to bring the electrician, the plumber, the carpenter, the floor and tile installers and the mechanical subcontractor to assemble all those elements. It may take you up to a month to finish the inside, that is if your GC and architect have carefully planned the erection and furnishing of your dome.
Using a full kit for your dome will facilitate your work and reduce your headaches, you will receive “all rooms” and furniture in your container. You may be up and running within a week or so. Modules included in your kit will be plug and play ready.
